In my writing, I investigate the intersection of technology, maternity care, and the future of human reproduction.

While studying the philosophy of technology, which often questions and elucidates the role of technology in human life, I became interested in ectogenesis. I soon became abreast of the current scientific research on the topic and began to understand it within a larger epoch of humanity’s long and varied manipulation of reproduction. I call this extra-uterine destining, a novel term coined in Outer Origin, that theorizes that humanity has been on a path toward synthetic womb usage for centuries.
